Peng's 75 gallons of Awesomeness. (1 Viewer)

looks great! needs some corals though;)

Yeah just waiting on my LEDs to come in so i can transfer all my corals over from the 15 gallon.

Thanks Peng. They seem to be getting along really well! I'm curious how the behavior will be in a few weeks. I like the rock work too.

Yeah they are. This is their second day so once they establish a pecking order and territory they should color up some more. THey are still young, about 3". With tangs, there will always be aggression. Just hope to feed well and maintain good water quality.

You looking to do a fish only system?

Waitng for LEDs to transfer corals over.

I have been debating a school in my tank of 5.... Cant decide between purple or yellow... :coolmad:

If i had a 200+ gallons my goal is to do a School of Achilles Tangs :)

Depends on your setup, if you have 75+ gallons and 4ft tanker, i say why not? People are too afraid to try something new/risks...my motto is, "If you don't try, you'll never know." :beerchug:

I have a 180gal. So I have the room, just debating on which one to do. Yellow splash of color would be nice.. Purple would just be sweet though..

Achilles I dont think would do that well with more than one. They are known to be very aggresive..

I say try with the yellows, if you don't like them, try the purple.

The better to try :gay1:

Achilles tangs are mean SOB! Usually only towards other tangs or species... Could always try I guess. Although I dont have that kind of money..

I guess I could try the yellow and see what happens would be alot cheaper.

l0l, Great start. I have 5 yellow in my tank and they been fine (its been around 6months+ I think). For your first big tank built, you have done a great job. Try not to pack it with a lot of corals, keep corals off the ground as this will give you a nice clean look.

Thanks al.

That's why I been selling a lot of my corals. Lue said I should pick a few nice one I want and grow em out .

Also when placing your corals, try not to place two of the same color next to each other. Place the taller/ faster growing corals in the back this way they will not block your view of the shorter slower growing corals behind it.

Nice to meet ya Mike and thanks. It looks even better with the retro on it now :)

nice to meet you too, i think your due for a new picture update haha

I'll update a new FTS first thing tomorrow.

Can't wait for the LEDs.

48 Cree LEDs + 2x54 watt Aqua blue plus = SEXXXYNESSS
