We have a large +12-16" diameter green brittle star in our 210 gal tank along with corals, skunk cleaner shrimp, 2 clowns, 3 different tangs, and a blennie. Everyone getting along fine. I brought in a long spine sea urchin and he seems to be bothering the brittle star. I pulled the brittle star out and put him in the sump when I found him pressed against the glass with the sea urchin beside him. Could the urchin be trying to kill him? Should I just put the brittle star back and see how it goes? They have been in this tank for about 2 months together now and the brittle star keeps moving to new hiding places. I hate to get rid of either of them but it was sad seeing the brittle star smushed against the tank glass.
Thanks for any insight on what is going on here.

Hmmm, not sure but I can tell you urchins although cool are a pain to keep in a reef in my opinion, they eat coraline and can destroy rock, they also have a tendency to know things over, like corals. I had one in my first tank and since I have never wanted another. They are cool though, if I had a fish only tank I'd think about getting one again but not in my reef tank! Just my opinion, I'm sure others may have a different opinion.
